For your kind notice, ‘Derailed’ and ‘PMKC’ both based on the same novel ‘NOVEL’… Guna and rainman are not same.. There is a difference between copying the story and interpreting the character of that story in a different colour..
Same applies for enthiran as well. Its not a copy of Bicentenial Man.
Dude!! The stories are not copied!! Only the base element of each story is replicated with a different story spun around it!!
I will agree on most of them except Roja and Pudhupettai. In Sunflower, the movie was about how a woman tried to keep her husband from being deployed to war through various means and how they recover from his deployment. It is in no way similar to Roja. Did you even see the movies?
For Pudhupettai, the film was shot realistically, like City of Gods, but the story, again, is completely different. “City of God” tells the story of a young aspiring photographer looking for his big break so he can leave the treacherous area once and for all. But, there was no redemption theme in Pudhupettai Kokki Kumaru wanted to be a gang boss and became one. There are plenty of movies narrating the rise and fall of gangsters, are you going to say all of them are “copies” of City of God or whatever other movie?
Did you see any of the movies before you posted this? OF course you did not.
Also, one error. “Guna” and “Rain Man” are completely different movies. “Guna” is about mentally challenged man, Guna, who assumes a fictitious character Abhirami to be an angel who is going to marry him which leads him to kidnap the rich girl assuming her to be his angel. The girl initially hates him but later finds herself falling in love with him after understanding his situation.
“Rain Man” is about Charlie Babbitt, who discovers that his estranged father has died and given all of his multimillion-dollar estate to his other son, Raymond, an autistic savant, who Charlie doesn’t know.
Where are the similarities? Do some research first before making these posts.
